Happiness With A Side Of Tea : About Me

About Me

Hey there!

I’m Jazmine and I’m so happy you stopped by to visit me on Happiness with a Side of Tea.

Fun Fact: I’m originally from Guam!

Guam is a beautiful island in the Northern Pacific just a few hours away from Hawaii. It was a great place to grow up and I have a lot of great memories about traveling around the island with my cousins. I moved to Illinois recently for college but I still miss the hot sand, cool blue ocean and sea salt smell of Guam. I love Guam. I love Illinois. I’m really fortunate to have two places I can call “home.”

Even though Guam and Illinois are very different they both capture that small-town feel. I’m a small-town girl at heart. I love being able to drive down the street and see nothing but grass. I enjoy the slow pace, being in a place where everyone knows one another and the relaxing laid-back vibe. It’s the perfect environment for me.

I’m just a laid-back kind of girl.

I’m the most content when I’m snuggled up with a good book (I love supernatural romance and mystery, mostly) and a nice hot cup of tea. I’m open to other genres though so if you have any good recommendations make sure you send them my way.

I’m a dreamer and a wishful romantic. That’s probably why I love supernatural romance so much. You’ll find my dreamy romanticism coming out here on the blog because I write about all the dreamy romantic beautiful things – beauty, fashion, relationships and my small-town life.

I hope I can inspire you.

I want to make you feel that you’re not alone in life. It can be intimidating out there but knowing that we’re not alone makes it a little less difficult.

That’s how it was when I first started blogging. I wasn’t sure if I’d like blogging or if I’d want to continue but one of my best friends, Jerlyn from A Cup Full of Hope, inspired and encouraged me. I want to do the same for you. You can read more about why I blog in this post here.
